It eliminates the need for translation and apostille, ensuring immediate and standardised use throughout the European Union.
When requesting the National Criminal Record Certificate, the European Model is generated automatically, at no additional cost.
The process is fully digital and accessible through the Online Criminal Record Portal.
The service is available to Portuguese citizens whose criminal record is negative, meaning with no criminal convictions.
